Locate Sedgwick County Inmates

Sedgwick County inmate search work starts with the difference between local jail custody and state prison custody. No official Sedgwick County online jail roster was found in the county sources reviewed, so a Sedgwick County jail roster search should use the sheriff contact path for local custody. State-sentenced inmates are searched through Colorado Department of Corrections tools. Sex offender registry checks and court bond records are separate record paths, not substitutes for local jail confirmation.

Sedgwick County Inmate Search Limits

No official Sedgwick County online jail roster was located on the county website during the project research. That is the controlling local finding for inmate records. Searchers should not be sent to unofficial jail-roster sites as if they were county sources. For current local custody, the official path is to call the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office or contact the sheriff office in Julesburg. For state prison and parole records, use Colorado Department of Corrections resources.

The sheriff page lists Koby Quayle as sheriff, with office duties that include patrol, citizen calls, crime investigation, and traffic enforcement. It also lists Undersheriff Phil Biersdorfer, Deputy Dakota Clark, and Victim Services Director Michelle Kirk. Spanish-only sheriff's office interpreters are named in the research as Mario Sanchez, Diana Bodendorfer, Rosie Sanchez Acosta, and Marilyn Wilbur. Those local details matter because inmate confirmation may require a direct call rather than a web form.

Important: No official Sedgwick County online jail roster was found, so current local custody should be confirmed with the sheriff.

Sedgwick County Inmate Contacts

The research supports a local contact card for the sheriff office and a state contact path for sentenced inmates. It does not identify a separate jail facility page, capacity listing, or local jail roster portal. The sheriff bonding policy also notes that some inmates may be housed in another county, which means custody location should be confirmed before visits, mail, deposits, or property transactions.

Sedgwick County DOC Search Fields

The Colorado DOC search is for state offender records. It is not a county jail roster and should not be described as a booking database. The research captured the public search screen at a high level and did not inspect an offender profile. Use the DOC tool when the person may be in state custody, not when the question is a recent Sedgwick County arrest.

Sedgwick County Inmate Profile Fields

No official Sedgwick County inmate-profile page was available for inspection. Local profile fields such as mugshot, booking number, pod, charge, bond, release date, or housing unit should not be invented. The official statement should be plain: no local profile fields were inspected because no official local online jail roster was found. For county custody, call the sheriff. For state custody, use DOC. For court charges and bond, use court and sheriff bond sources.

Sedgwick County Inmate Bond

The sheriff bonding policy is the strongest local source for inmate release procedures. It says bond can be set by a judge, court-ordered warrant, or bond commissioner and exists to assure court appearance. The policy defines cash bond, co-signed personal recognizance bond, no bond, personal recognizance bond, property bond, and surety bond. No-bond defendants generally do not qualify for bond until seen by a judge, which the policy says should happen within 48 hours in most cases.

When bond is set and all paperwork or payment is complete, the policy repeatedly states release should occur within 6 hours for listed bond categories. Cash bond may be paid by cash, money order, credit card, or bank checks. Personal checks are not accepted. The sheriff office will not recommend a bondsman. The official weekend bond hearing schedule also shows Sedgwick County's regular weekend bond hearing time as Sunday at 7:00 a.m., with a second hearing time the following day at the same time.

Bond or Jail CostAmount / Local Note
Jail fee, bond fee$10
Jail fee, booking fee$35
Work release payments$30 per day
Police records request$5
Police records older than 5 years$20
CD or DVD of pictures$2 per CD/DVD

Note: Bond payments and jail fees are not commissary deposits, and no commissary vendor was found in official sources.

Sedgwick County Jail Services

Official Sedgwick County webpages reviewed did not publish a jail visitation schedule, mail rules, commissary vendor, money-deposit vendor, phone or video provider, tablet program, attorney visitation schedule, or dress code. The safest official guidance is to call the sheriff before any visit, mail, deposit, or property transaction. This is especially important because the bonding policy references inmates who may be housed in another county.

Sedgwick County Registry Checks

The CBI sex offender registry is a separate state search. It is not a local jail roster and does not show all custody events. The research notes that the CBI registry excludes some misdemeanor-only and juvenile adjudication information from public web posting. Use it when the question is registry status, not whether a person is booked in Sedgwick County jail today.

The official registry agreement screen is part of the inmate records source set because it is a related public-safety search. Source: Colorado sex offender registry search.

Registry search results should be read with the registry's limits in mind and should not be used as jail custody proof.

Sedgwick County Inmate Records Fees

Sheriff records and court records have different fee schedules. The sheriff fee schedule lists police record requests, older police record requests, CD or DVD picture copies, bond fee, booking fee, work release payments, and sex offender registration fees. Court records use Judicial Branch fees for copies, certifications, name searches, retrieval, and redaction or research time. That split is important because an inmate search may lead to both a sheriff record and a court charge record.

Sedgwick County Inmate Record Boundaries

Inmate records overlap with court records, arrest records, warrants, and criminal history, but each source answers a different question. The sheriff can address current custody and local records. Sedgwick Combined Court can address filed cases, court charges, bond-related orders, dispositions, and the Register of Action. CDOC can locate state offenders. CBI can provide criminal-history or registry products. None of those sources should be merged into a single invented jail profile.

Restricted records also matter. Juvenile cases, sealed records, victim-protection details, mental health material, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial identifiers, and other protected information may be withheld or redacted. If a person has no public local inmate profile, that does not prove there is no court case, no warrant, or no state record. It only means the official Sedgwick County sources reviewed did not publish a local jail roster for public searching.
